Dr. Yingchen Peng Joined SOEL as a Postdoctoral Researcher

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Yingchen Peng as a postdoctoral researcher at SOEL.

Dr. Peng received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Xiamen University (2026), under the supervision of Prof. Ye Yang. His research focuses on ultrafast spectroscopy, excited-state dynamics, and many-body interactions in two-dimensional van der Waals materials, with particular interest in the dynamical coupling between spin-correlated coherent acoustic phonons and electronic states in van der Waals antiferromagnets. He has extensive experience in ultrafast spectroscopy, dynamics, and many-body interactions. His work has been published in journals, including Physical Review Letters, Journal of the American Chemical Society, and Physical Review B.
